2019 Crystal Lake Ironmen Tryouts

Playing for the Crystal Lake Ironmen is an opportunity to not only compete against teams in McHenry County, the Midwest, and around the World, but also a chance for players to develop leadership skills at the in-house level. We believe this dual team concept is an integral aspect to player development and leadership and want the players and parents to understand the true value our league requires for each level of competition.

The dates for 2019 Crystal Lake Ironmen tryouts are as follows:

11-12U Ironmen Tryout make-up date is August 13, 2018 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Please register for the tournament team tryouts by emailing [email protected] with the following information:
1) Player's Name
2) Player's Date of Birth
3) Grade in School (2019)
4) Contact Cell Phone Number
5) Team played for in 2018
6) Three Favorite Positions

All players will be notified whether they made the team or not one week or less after their tryout.

 

Program typically consists of:

9U/10U

•  3 tournaments (April, Memorial Day Weekend & June) 

•  Participation in Regional N60 League with 6-8 single games (May-June)  

• 12 indoor training sessions (January-March) 

• Weekly practices (April-June) 

• Full uniform (two jerseys), hat and practice shirt included 

11U

• 3 tournaments (April, Memorial Day Weekend & June) 

• Participation in Regional N60 League with 6-8 single games (May-June)  

• MCYSA tournament in July 

• 8 indoor hitting clinics

• 12 indoor training sessions (January-March) 

• Weekly practices (April-June) 

• Full uniform (two jerseys), hat and practice shirt included 

• 11U players are expected to continue playing together as a team through the All-Star season without trying out for the All-Star team. There will be an opt out policy for the All-Star season and there will be tryouts for an in house players to try to make the 11U team as a 13th player for All-Stars and MCYSA play. All-Star tryouts will also be held to fill roster spots for any TDP players that have opted out of playing in All-Stars.   

 12U

• 4 tournaments (April, Memorial Day Weekend & June) 

• Participation in Local N60 or similar League with 8-10 single games (April-June) 

• 8 indoor hitting clinics 

• 12 indoor training sessions (January-March) 

• Weekly practices (April-June) 

• Full uniform (two jerseys), hat and practice shirt included 

• 12U players are expected to continue playing together as a team through the All-Star season without trying out for the All-Star team. There will be an opt out policy for the All-Star season and there will be tryouts for a 13th player from the in house player pool to make the 12U team for All-Stars or to fill a roster spot for any TDP player that has opted out of playing in All-Stars.

  • 9U  -  $450 - includes complete uniform, winter workouts in January, clinic practices, individual games and tournaments
  • 10U - $450 - includes complete uniform, winter workouts in January, clinic practices, individual games and tournaments
  • 11U - $150 - includes winter workouts in January, clinic practices
  • 12U - $500 - includes complete uniform, winter workouts in January, clinic practices, individual games and tournaments (MCYSA)
  A payment plan is available online for all age levels. Please register by November 30th to be included in this payment plan option.
