Crystal Lake Little League is excited to welcome players to little league style baseball in the Intermediate Division. This division is played under full baseball rules with lead-offs, pick offs, balks and dropped third strikes all being introduced along with the expansion to a 50’ pitching rubber distance to the plate and 70’ bases. In preparing these players to soon try out for their High School teams, games move to 7 innings and the competitive nature of play is expanded. However, fundamental skills will still be taught and honed while keeping an emphasis on having fun at all times.  Players will be placed on a team after an evaluation process and a Manager draft to attempt to divide skill level evenly across all teams.
